Rainkind is a dual-sided, high-pressure shower head with a replaceable cotton filter in the handle. It catches the sediment, rust flakes and grit your pipework carries — and it shows you exactly how much of it there was.
Fits any standard UK shower hose · No tools · 30-day returns
Water leaves the treatment works clean. Then it travels through mains, into a building, up through pipework that in much of the UK is decades old — cast iron, galvanised steel, copper, sometimes a loft tank.
It picks things up on the way: suspended sediment, flakes of rust, scale fragments, grit stirred up whenever the mains are worked on. None of it is visible in a glass. All of it lands on the cotton pad inside a Rainkind handle.
Rainkind is a mechanical particle filter. It does not soften water or change its mineral content — see the FAQ.
Nothing to install, nothing to plumb in. It replaces the head you already have and does three jobs the old one didn’t.
Water enters the clear handle and passes through a dense PP cotton cartridge before it reaches the nozzles. Particles stay in the pad. You can see it working through the housing — the cotton darkens as it fills.
Unscrew the housing, lift the old pad out, drop a new one in, screw it back. No tools. The manufacturer rates each cartridge at 3–6 months, depending on your water and how much you shower.
A laser-drilled 304 stainless panel narrows each outlet, so the same flow leaves the head faster. Noticeably firmer on tired gravity-fed systems.
Turn the face for rainfall, jet, or both together. Flip the head end-over-end for the second face — a wide soft rain on one side, a concentrated massage jet on the other. The bracket pivots 45° so you can aim it without moving the rail.
Water companies are asking households to cut what they use, and the biggest easy win in a bathroom is the water that runs while nobody is under it. Press the button on the handle and the flow stops at the head. Lather, shave, shampoo. Press again and it comes back at the temperature you already set — you never touch the mixer, so there is no cold-then-scalding hunt to get back.
There is also a flow dial on the neck: turn it down for everyday washing, turn it up when you want the full force.
We don’t publish a percentage saving. How much you save depends entirely on your shower, your habits and how long you pause — anyone quoting you an exact figure is guessing.
No guessing whether it fits or what’s inside the box. If a figure isn’t here, ask us and we’ll measure it.

Rainkind is new. Instead of borrowing credibility we haven’t built yet, here is exactly what we do and don’t stand behind.
Most filtered shower heads are sold as “water softeners”. This one isn’t one, and we say so on the product page, in the FAQ and in the footer. A cotton pad traps particles. It does not change your water’s mineral content.
Fit it, use it, look at the cotton. If it comes out white, or you simply don’t get on with it, send it back within 30 days. Your legal 14-day right to cancel sits on top of that and we spell out who pays return postage before you buy, not after.
Rainkind is a trading name of MY BASKETO LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 16633635. There is a named company, a registered address and a returns address — not an anonymous storefront.
No customer reviews yet. This is a new product and we haven’t sold enough of it to have honest ones. When customers leave reviews they will appear here, tied to verified orders. We won’t be writing any ourselves — inventing reviews is illegal in the UK, and it is the fastest way to lose the only thing a new brand has.
Fit it in a minute. Look at the cotton in a month. If it comes out white, send the whole thing back.
